Jesus, the Only Name
Fear continues to spread like a raging wildfire over the earth. Is it just me, or does it feel like the fire was ignited in 2020 and has gained more and more momentum with each passing year?
The power of the internet makes it so easy for the enemy to douse our hearts and minds with an incredible noxious, toxic, and gripping fear.
But, only if we let it!
Jesus told us that in the last days that there would be wars and RUMORS of war. Do you ever wonder how much of what is being flashed before our eyes is "rumors of war?" We have no idea what is real and what is not anymore.
Have you noticed that since 2020, with each threat that comes, there are only a few images circulating that get slung far and wide, over and over? It makes me question. "Why? Why are there only a few images of that situation that go viral?" Think about that. Pay attention to this pattern.
Jesus warned us in Matthew 24...Do not be deceived. He also told us that there would be a rise in false prophets and false teachers. Be careful! They will even deceive the elect.
For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
II Corinthians 11:14-15
I find myself constantly picking up my Bible right now and searching it....seeking Truth in the only place I can find it, and praying for the Lord of Heaven and earth to "give me eyes to see and ears to hear." The kind of "ears" that Revelation talks about that will be blessed for holding fast to the end.
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Revelation 3:10-13
There is only One name that can hide, protect and cover us in this ever darkening world...it is Jesus. Only in clinging to Him as tight as we can, do we find peace, hope and joy.
He assures us over and over, FEAR NOT!
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
Pray with me...
Heavenly Father,
We run to You now with everything we have got! Deliver us from evil. We cry out for wisdom and discernment like never before. Hide us in the palm of Your hand as these calamities spread across the earth.
You commanded us not to fear. Give us courage to stand and be strong for the battle. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear what is true and to discern what is false. We cling to You, Jesus.
Let thy Kingdom come and thy will be done. In Jesus Name
